Southgate once again celebrated Halloween in festive fashion.
The city’s Cultural, Arts, and Special Events Commission recently announced the winners of its annual Halloween Decorating Contest, in which residents can nominate their own house, a neighbor’s, or a seasonally decorated house they love in the community.
Once the submission deadline passes, a group of dedicated C.A.S.E. volunteers drive around the city looking at all submitted houses and vote on the winners.
The Bucia family took first place for 2019, with second place going to the Klotz family and third place going to the Hall family.
